Elvis hasn't left the building; even 40 years later.

I was only twelve years old when I heard the news that Elvis had died of a "Heart Attack" at his home in "Graceland." Even though the jokes were abounding for two years or so from the likes of Johnny Carson on the "Tonight Show" about how fat and out of touch Elvis had gotten; he was still an icon unlike any other. I didn't understand much about his conditon at twelve but came to appreciate him more as I got older about people who were hangers on or who were just along for the ride when things were going well.For those who are younger who are reading this blog, you must remember that media in those days was print news, three networks, and radio stations. News trickled out much slower in those days and information could be contolled much easier. Nonetheless, Elvis was said to have died of a "Heart Attack." Staten Island Carnival

I would just like to thank the management of Reithhoffer Carnival Shows for allowing me exclusive access to the carnival one day before opening.The carnival looks exciting and is full of friendly people who you can see in my video that is posted on this website.I also want to add that the ride inspection units from New York City were very present at the carnival checking that each ride met specifications.The food offering looked clean as well as all of the booths which sell the food. Everything looked fresh; as they were cooking food for the workers (Carneys) and the inspection teams.Enjoy the show!P.S. they have a water tank "Bozo" which is my favorite carnival attraction! If you want to laugh just stand by this attraction for a few minutes as the "Bozo" razzes people to incite them to buy balls to knock him into the water tank. ...
